Saul got up from the ground and opened his eyes but could not see anything, so had to be led by the hand into Damascus. For three days he was blind and neither ate nor drank anything.

As Jesus was walking along He saw a man [who had been] blind from birth. His disciples asked Him, "Rabbi, did this man sin or was it his parents' [sin] that caused him to be born blind?" Jesus answered, "[It was] neither his sin nor his parents' [sin], but [it happened] so that the deeds of God could be seen in his life.

And since I could not see [anything] because of the brilliance of the light, I had to be led by the hand of those with me into Damascus.
