So the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground, breathed life into his lungs, and the man became a living being.
and he isn't served by people as if he needed anything. He himself gives everyone life, breath, and everything else.

If he were to decide to do so, that is, to take back to himself his spirit and breath of life, every living thing would die all at once, and mankind would return to dust."
When you withdraw your favor, they are disappointed; Take away their breath, and they die and return to dust.
Grass withers and flowers fade away when the LORD's breath blows on them; surely the people are like grass.
