Look not to the stubbornness of this people, nor to their profaneness, nor to their sin, lest the land from where thou brought us out say, Because LORD was not able to bring them into the land which he promised to them, and because he hated them, he has brought them out to kill them in the wilderness.read more.

And Samuel said, Gather all Israel to Mizpah, and I will pray for you to LORD. And they gathered together to Mizpah, and drew water, and poured it out before LORD, and fasted on that day, and said there, We have sinned against LORD. And Samuel judged the sons of Israel in Mizpah. And when the Philistines heard that the sons of Israel were gathered together to Mizpah, the lords of the Philistines went up against Israel. And when the sons of Israel heard it, they were afraid of the Philistines.read more.

And he said, I called because of my affliction to LORD, and he answered me. Out of the belly of Sheol I cried, [and] thou heard my voice.
And they stoned Stephen, who was calling and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. And having knelt down, he cried out in a great voice, Lord, place not this sin to them. And after saying this, he slept.
