And beginning from Moses and all the prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures, the things concerning Himself.

And He responding said; It has been written, A man shall not live upon bread alone, but upon every word coming forth through the mouth of God.

And Jesus responded to him, saying; It has been written, That man shall not live upon bread alone, but upon every word of God.

You have heard that it was said to the ancients, Thou shalt not murder; and whosoever may murder shall be in danger of the judgment;

And He said to them, Have you not read what David did, when he was hungry, and those with him? How he came into the house of God, and ate the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, nor those with him, except the priests only? Have you not read in the law, that the priests in the temple do profane the Sabbath, and are blameless?read more.
But I say unto you, that there is One here greater than the temple. But if ye had known what this is, I wish mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the innocent.

and Jesus responding said to them, You err, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but they are as angels of God in heaven: concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read that which was spoken to you by God, saying,read more.
I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

And Jesus responding, said to them; Therefore do you not err, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God? For when they may rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage; but they are as angels in the heavens. But concerning the dead, that they are raised, have you not read in the book of Moses at the Bush, how God spoke to him saying; I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?read more.
He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You do err much.

And responding Jesus said to them, The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage, but those counted worthy to attain that age and the resurrection, which is from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage; for they are not able yet to die; for they are like the angels, and sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.read more.
