Just as the living Father has sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who lives on me will live because of me.

For just as the Father is self-existent, he has given self-existence to the Son,

and killed the very source of life. But God raised him from the dead, as we can testify.

For when he died, he became once for all dead to sin; the life he now lives is a life in relation to God.
