And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and punish the men that are settled on their lees, that say in their heart, Jehovah will not do good, neither will he do evil.

and I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much good things laid by for many years; repose thyself, eat, drink, be merry.

then thy heart be lifted up, and thou forget Jehovah thy God, who brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage;

And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us. This hath been of your hand: will he accept any of your persons? saith Jehovah of hosts. And every one who hears these my words and does not do them, he shall be likened to a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand;
