Thou shall also be a crown of beauty in the hand of LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

I will clothe his enemies with shame, but upon himself his crown shall flourish.

And his eyes are a flame of fire, and upon his head are many diadems having names written, and a name written that none knows except he himself,

Thou made him a little something less than the heavenly agents. Thou crowned him with glory and honor. Thou subordinated all things under his feet. For in subordinating all things to him, he left nothing not subordinate to him. But now we do not yet see all things subordinated to him. And also if any man competes, he is not crowned unless he competes lawfully.

For what is our hope or joy or crown of boast? Or is it not even ye, before our Lord Jesus at his coming?

And every man who strives for mastery exercises self-control in all things. Indeed therefore those men do it so that they might obtain a perishable crown, but we an imperishable.
