And it came to pass after these things, that the butler of the king of Egypt and his baker had offended their lord the king of Egypt.

And the chief butler told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, In my dream, behold, a vine was before me; And on the vine were three branches: and it was as though it budded, and its blossoms shot forth; and its clusters brought forth ripe grapes: And Pharaoh's cup was in my hand: and I took the grapes, and pressed them into Pharaoh's cup, and I gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand.

And Joseph said to him, This is the interpretation of it: The three branches are three days; Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thy head, and restore thee to thy place: and thou shalt deliver Pharaoh's cup into his hand, after the former manner when thou wast his butler. But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and show kindness to me, I pray thee, and make mention of me to Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house:

And he restored the chief butler to his butlership again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand:

Yet the chief butler did not remember Joseph, but forgot him.

Then spoke the chief butler to Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day:

And when the queen of Sheba had seen all Solomon's wisdom, and the house that he had built, And the provisions of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel, and his cup-bearers, and his ascent by which he went up to the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.

And it came to pass in the month Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that wine was before him: and I took up the wine, and gave it to the king. Now I had not before been sad in his presence.
