The human mind is more deceitful than anything else. It is incurably bad. Who can understand it?

if I have covered my transgressions as men do, by hiding iniquity in my heart, because I was terrified of the great multitude, and the contempt of families terrified me, so that I remained silent and would not go outdoors --

But you are always thinking and looking for ways to increase your wealth by dishonest means. Your eyes and your heart are set on killing some innocent person and committing fraud and oppression.

But evil people and charlatans will go from bad to worse, deceiving others and being deceived themselves.
