Who comforteth us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort them who are in any affliction, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eye-witnesses of his majesty.

Jesus answered and said to him, Art thou a teacher of Israel, and knowest not these things? Verily, verily I say to thee, we speak what we know, and testify what we have seen; yet ye receive not our testimony.

He answered and said, That he is a sinner I know not: one thing I know, that I was blind, and now see.

But Jesus suffered him not, but said to him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.
