But he answered and said to him that told him: Who is my mother? and who are my brothers? And he stretched out his hand toward his disciples, and said: Behold my mother and my brothers. For whoever will do the will of my Father who is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

For where there are two or three that have come together for my sake, there I am in the midst of them.

Whoever will receive one of such children on my account, receives me; and whoever will receive me, receives not me, but him that sent me.

But he answered and said to them: My mother and my brothers are they that hear the word of God and do it.

And they said one to an other, Did not our heart burn within us while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?

Then Jesus said to them: Verily, verily I say to you, Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, you have no life in you.

He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood, dwells in me, and I in him.

In that clay you shall know that I am in my Father, arid you in me, and I in you. He that has my commandments and keeps them, he it is that loves me; and he that loves me shall be loved by my Father; and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Jesus answered and said to him: If any one loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our abode with him.

Abide in me, and I will abide in you. As the branch can not bear fruit of itself, unless it abide in the vine, so neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He that abides in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; for apart from me you can do nothing.

If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done for you.

that they all may be one, as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me, I have given them, that they may be one, as we are one; I in them, and thou ID me, that they may be made perfect in one, that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

And I have made known to them thy name, and will continue to make it known, that the love with which thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

So then, my brethren, you, also, have died to the law, by the body of the Christ, in order that you may be married to another, to him who was raised from the dead that we should bring forth fruit to God.

There is now, therefore, no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.

But if Christ is in you, the body is dead, on account of sin, but the Spirit is life, on ac count of righteousness.

and, if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified together.

And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, have been grafted in among them, and partake with them of the root and fatness of the olive,

so we, the many, are one body in Christ, and members one of another.

God is faithful, by whom you have been called into the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

Meats for the stomach, and the stomach for meats; but God will destroy both it and them. But the body is not for lewdness, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body: and God has raised, up the Lord, and will also raise us up by his power. Know you not that your bodies are the members of Christ? Shall I, then, take the members of the Christ, and make them the members of a harlot? It must not be.

But he that is joined to the Lord, is one spirit.

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the participation of the blood of the Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the participation of the body of the Christ?

For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body, so also is the Christ.

Now, you are the body of Christ, and, as individuals, you are members.

for I am jealous over you with a godly jealousy: for I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you a chaste virgin to Christ.

Make trial of yourselves, whether you are in the faith; put yourselves to the proof. Do you not know your own selves, that Christ Jesus is in you? unless you be without proof.

For both he that sanctifies, and those who are sanctified, are all of one Father: for which reason, he is not ashamed to call them brethren, saying:

He that says, he abides in him, ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

Let that, therefore, abide in you which you have heard from the beginning. If that abide in you which you have heard from the beginning, you also shall abide in the Son and in the Father.

And now, little children, abide in him, that when he appears, we may have confidence, and may not be made ashamed by him at his coming.

Whoever abides in him, sins not. Whoever sins, has neither seen him nor known him.

And he that keeps his commandments abides in him, and he in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit which he has given us.

By this we know that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.

He that has the Son, has life: he that has not the Son of God, has not life.

And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding, that we may know him that is true: and we are in him that is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and life eternal. Little children, keep yourselves from idols.

Whoever transgresses, and abides not in the teaching of the Christ, has not God: he that abides in the teaching of the Christ, has both the Father and the Son.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
