So I will live among you and be your God, and you will be my people.

The one who obeys God's commandments lives in God, and God lives in (with) Him. We know that He lives in (with) us by the Spirit He gave us.

And what agreement does a temple of God have with idols? We are the temple of the living God. God said: I will dwell in them, and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they will be my people. (Leviticus 26:12) (Zechariah 8:8)

This is the ACCOUNT OF NOAH. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time. He walked with God.

The High and Lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is holy, says: 'I dwell in the high and holy and also with him who has a contrite and humble spirit. I revive the spirit of the humble, and the heart of the contrite ones.'

If you do not drive them out, I will destroy you, as I planned to destroy them.

Jehovah your God will no longer drive these nations out as you advance. Rather, they will be as dangerous for you as a trap or a pit and as painful as a whip on your back or thorns in your eyes. This will last until none of you are left in this good land that Jehovah your God gave you.

I also said: 'I will not drive them out from before you. They will be thorns in your sides. Their gods will snare (trap) you.'

The people of Israel settled down among the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. They intermarried with them and worshiped their gods. Jehovah became angry at Israel and let King Cushan Rishathaim of Mesopotamia conquer them. They were subject to him for eight years.

From the days of our fathers till this day we have been great sinners. Because of our sins, the kings of the lands captured us. We were given to the sword and to prison and to loss of goods and to shame of face, as it is this day.

Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead reprove (expose) (convict) them.

But I say, that the things that the nations sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and not to God. I do not want you to have fellowship with demons. You cannot drink the cup of Jehovah and the cup of demons. You cannot be partakers of the Jehovah's Table and of the table of demons. (Malachi 1:12)

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the intimate sharing of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

But you are not in flesh but in Spirit, if indeed God's Spirit dwells in you. If any one does not have the Spirit of Christ he does not belong to him.

After this, King Jehoshaphat of Judah allied himself with King Ahaziah of Israel, who led him to do evil. Jehoshaphat joined him in making ships to go to Tarshish. They made the ships in Ezion Geber. Eliezer was the son of Dodavahu from Mareshah. He prophesied against Jehoshaphat. He said: Jehovah will destroy your work because you have allied yourself with Ahaziah. The ships were wrecked and could not go to Tarshish.

A prophet, Jehu son of Hanani, went to meet the king. He said to him: Do you think it is right to help those who are wicked and to take the side of those who hate Jehovah? What you have done has brought Jehovah's anger upon you.

He asked: Will you go with me to attack Ramoth? Jehoshaphat replied: I am ready when you are. My army is ready. We will join you.

Depart from me, evildoers, that I may observe the commandments of my God.

A perverse heart shall depart from me. I will not know a wicked person. I will destroy anyone who secretly slanders his neighbor. I will not tolerate anyone with a conceited look or arrogant heart. The one who does deceitful things will not stay in my home. The one who tells lies will not remain in my presence.

This is the message we heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie, and do not live (practice) the truth.

My little children, I write you these things that you may not sin. If any man sin, we have an Advocate (intercessor) (comforter) (helper) with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous! He who says: I know him, and does not obey his commandments is a liar! The truth is not in him.

Sanballat and Geshem sent to me saying: Come; let us have a meeting in one of the little towns in the lowland of Ono. But their purpose was to do me evil. Ahaziah also followed the ways of Ahab's family, because his mother gave him advice that led him to sin. He did what Jehovah considered evil the same as Ahab's family had done. After his father died, they advised him to do what Ahab's family had done. They did this to destroy him. He followed their advice. He joined King Joram of Israel in a war against King Hazael of Syria. The armies clashed at Ramoth in Gilead, and Joram was wounded in battle.

But he paid no attention to the opinion of the elders. He went to the young men who were his advisors: What is your opinion? He asked: What answer are we to give to this people? They want me to lighten the burdens placed on them by my father.

Solomon loved many women. They were of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites. Jehovah warned the children of Israel about these nations. He said: You are not to take wives from them and they are not to take wives from you. They will certainly turn your hearts to go after their gods. Solomon loved his wives anyway. He had seven hundred wives, daughters of kings, and three hundred other wives. His wives influenced his heart to turn away. read more.
When Solomon was old he allowed his heart to be turned away to other gods by his wives. His heart was no longer true to Jehovah his God as the heart of his father David had been. Solomon went after Ashtoreth, the goddess of the Zidonians, and Milcom, the disgusting god of the Ammonites. Solomon did evil in the eyes of Jehovah. He did not walk in Jehovah's ways with all his heart as David his father did. Then Solomon put up a high place for Chemosh, the disgusting god of Moab, in the mountain near Jerusalem. And for Molech, the disgusting god worshipped by the children of Ammon. He did likewise for all his strange wives, who made offerings with burning of perfumes to their gods.

If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

I did not spend my time with other people laughing and having a good time. In obedience to your orders I stayed by myself and was filled with anger.

After these things were done, the captains came to me and said: The people of Israel and the priests and Levites have not kept themselves separate from the people of the lands. They have taken part in the disgusting ways of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites. They have taken their daughters as wives for themselves and for their sons. They have mingled the holy race with peoples around them. In fact the leaders and officials were first to do this evil.

He was from Arimathaea a city of the Jews and was looking for the kingdom of God.

He followed the wicked example of King Ahab and the other kings of Israel. He married one of Ahab's daughters. He sinned against Jehovah.

You brought godless foreigners into my holy place. You dishonored my temple when you offered fat and blood to me. You rejected my promise so that you could do all your disgusting things.

Yet you have this in your favor: you hate the deeds of the sect of Nicolaus just as I hate their deeds.
