For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights, and every living thing that I have made I will destroy from off the face of the ground.
Also the fountains of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained.
And the flood was forty days upon the earth. And the waters increased, and bore up the ark, and it was lifted up above the earth. And LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
And LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the ground, from man, to beast, to creeping things, and birds of the heavens, for I regret that I have made them.
And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, from birds, to cattle, to beasts, and every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth, and every man. All in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, of all that was on the dry land, died.
But Noah found favor in the eyes of LORD. These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God.

Make thee an ark of gopher wood. Thou shall make rooms in the ark, and shall pitch it inside and outside with pitch.
And LORD said to Noah, Come, thou and all thy house into the ark, for I have seen thee righteous before me in this generation.
And God spoke to Noah, saying, Go forth from the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee.

And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort thou shall bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee. They shall be male and female. Of the birds according to their kind, and of the cattle according to their kind, of every creeping thing of the ground according to its kind. Two of every sort shall come to thee, to keep them alive. And take thou to thee of all food that is eaten, and gather it to thee, and it shall be for food for thee, and for them.
Of every clean beast thou shall take to thee by sevens, the male and his female. And of the beasts that are not clean two, the male and his female. Also of the birds of the heavens by sevens, male and female, to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.
And God remembered Noah, and all the beasts, and all the cattle that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided.
And LORD smelled the sweet savor. And LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake, for that the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth. Neither will I again any more smite everything While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
For this is [as] the waters of Noah to me. For as I have sworn that the waters of Noah shall no more go over the earth, so I have sworn that I will not be angry with thee, nor rebuke thee.
And God spoke to Noah, and to his sons with him, saying, And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you, and with every living creature that is with you, the birds, the cattle, and every beast of the earth with you, of all that go out of the ark, even every beast of the earth.read more.
And I will establish my covenant with you. Neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of the flood, nor shall there be a flood any more to destroy the earth.
And God said, This is the sign of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a sign of a covenant between me and the earth. And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud.read more.
And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh. And the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. And the bow shall be in the cloud, and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. And God said to Noah, This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.
And after the sixty-two weeks the anointed one shall be cut off, and shall have nothing. And the people of the prince who shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary, and the end of it shall be with a flood. And even to the

And they knew not until the flood came, and took them all away. So also will be the coming of the Son of man. Then two men will be in the field, one is taken, and one is left. Two women grinding at the mill, one is taken, and one is left. Watch therefore, because ye know not at what hour your Lord comes. But know this, that if the house-ruler had known in what watch the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have allowed his house to be broken into. Because of this ye also be ready, because in that hour ye think not the Son of man comes.
And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so also it will be in the days of the Son of man. They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.
