Yahweh has heard my plea; Yahweh has accepted my prayer.
I am a laughingstock to my friends: '[He] calls on God, and he answers him.' A righteous, blameless man [is] a laughingstock.
When my life was ebbing away from me, I remembered Yahweh, and my prayer came to you, {to your holy temple}.
In this trouble you called, and I rescued you. Within [the] secret place of thunder I answered you; I tested you at the waters of Meribah. Selah

"Return; you must say to Hezekiah, the leader of my people, 'Thus says Yahweh the God of David your ancestor, "I have heard your prayer and I have seen your tears. Look, I [am about to] heal you. On the third day you shall go up [to] the temple of Yahweh.
"Go and say to Hezekiah, 'Thus says Yahweh, the God of David your ancestor: "I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. {Look, I am going to} add fifteen years to your days.
and said, 'Cornelius, your prayer has been heard, and your charitable deeds have been remembered before God.
And Yahweh did according to the word of Moses and removed the flies from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people; not one was left.
He asked life from you; you gave [it] to him-- length of days forever and ever.
