So I fell down before LORD the forty days and forty nights that I fell down, because LORD had said he would destroy you.

For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure with which LORD was angry against you to destroy you. But LORD hearkened to me that time also.

Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy.

And LORD was very angry with Aaron to destroy him. And I prayed for Aaron also at the same time.

lest I strip her naked, and set her as in the day that she was born, and make her as a wilderness, and set her like a dry land, and kill her with thirst.

And they said, The God of the Hebrews has met with us. Let us go, we pray thee, three days' journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to LORD our God, lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword.

But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword, for the mouth of LORD has spoken it.
