And I will make between me and you and your seed after you through all generations, an eternal agreement to be a God to you and to your seed after you.

And I will make an eternal agreement with them, that I will never give them up, but ever do them good; and I will put the fear of me in their hearts, so that they will not go away from me.

I have made an agreement with the man of my selection, I have made an oath to David my servant; I will make your seed go on for ever, your kingdom will be strong through all generations. (Selah.)

But a blessing will be on King Solomon, and the kingdom of David will keep its place before the Lord for ever.

Is it not clear to you that the Lord, the God of Israel, gave the rule over Israel to David and to his sons for ever, by an agreement made with salt?

Great salvation does he give to his king; he has mercy on the king of his selection, David, and on his seed for ever.

I will keep my mercy for him for ever; my agreement with him will not be changed. His seed will keep their place for ever; his kingdom will be eternal, like the heavens.

I have made an oath once by my holy name, that I will not be false to David. His seed will not come to an end for ever; the seat of his kingdom will be like the sun before me. It will be fixed for ever like the moon; and the witness in heaven is true. (Selah.)
