For this is God's will--your purity of life, that you abstain from fornication;

Now may God who gives peace, and brought Jesus, our Lord, up again from among the dead--even Him who, by virtue of the blood of the eternal Covenant, is the great Shepherd of the sheep-- fully equip you with every grace that you may need for the doing of His will, producing in us that which will truly please Him through Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory to the Ages of the Ages! Amen.

For it is God's will that by doing what is right you should thus silence the ignorant talk of foolish persons.

And in their immoral ways they will have many eager disciples, through whom religion will be brought into disrepute. Thirsting for riches, they will trade on you with their canting talk. From of old their judgement has been working itself out, and their destruction has not been slumbering.

For there will rise up false Christs and false prophets, displaying wonderful signs and prodigies, so as to deceive, were it possible, even God's own People.

Leave them alone. They are blind guides of the blind; and if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into some pit."

and that from among your own selves men will rise up who will seek with their perverse talk to draw away the disciples after them.

Do not deceive yourselves: "Evil companionships corrupt good morals."
