11 Bible Verses about Healthy Marriages

Right now three things remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is appropriate for those who belong to the Lord.

Do not act out of selfish ambition or conceit, but with humility think of others as being better than yourselves. Do not be concerned about your own interests, but also be concerned about the interests of others.

Let marriage be kept honorable in every way, and the marriage bed undefiled. For God will judge those who commit sexual sins, especially those who commit adultery.

Your beauty should not be an external one, consisting of braided hair or the wearing of gold ornaments and dresses. Instead, it should be the inner disposition of the heart, consisting in the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which God values greatly.

I'm giving you a new commandment"to love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.

I no longer live, but the Messiah lives in me, and the life that I am now living in this body I live by the faithfulness of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
