The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save; he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love; he will joy over thee with singing.
And the LORD thy God will make thee abound in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body and in the fruit of thy beasts and in the fruit of thy land, for good; for the LORD will turn to rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers,

And the LORD smelled a savour of rest, and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake, for the intent of man's heart is evil from his childhood; neither will I again smite any more every living thing as I have done.
And he replied, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name that I AM before thee; and I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy and will show clemency on whom I will show clemency.
And as the LORD passed by before him, he proclaimed, I AM, I AM strong, merciful, and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in mercy and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, letting go of iniquity and rebellion and sin; and by no means will I absolve the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons and upon the sons' sons, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
But he, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity and did not destroy them; many a time turned he his anger away and did not stir up all his wrath. For he remembered that they were but flesh: a wind that passes away and does not come again.
The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. He will not always chide, neither will he keep his anger for ever. He has not dealt with us after our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.read more.
For as the heavens are high above the earth so does he increase his mercy over those that fear him.
Nevertheless he would look upon their affliction and hear their cry and remember his covenant with them and repent according to the multitude of his mercies.

He has exalted the horn of his people; let all his merciful ones praise him; even of the sons of Israel, the people near unto him. Halelu-JAH.
He shall feed his flock like a shepherd; he shall gather the lambs with his arm and carry them in his bosom and shall gently lead those that are with young.
The LORD has appeared of old unto me, saying, I have loved thee with an eternal love: therefore, I have put up with thee with mercy.

For I know the thoughts that I think concerning you, said the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you the end that you wait for.
The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return until he has done it and until he has performed the intents of his heart; in the end of the days ye shall understand this.
And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king, to whom also he gave testimony, saying, I have found David, the son of Jesse, a man after my own heart, who shall fulfil all my will.
In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the Angel of his face saved them: with his love and with his clemency he redeemed them; and he bore them and carried them all the days of the age. But they were rebels and angered his holy Spirit; therefore, he was turned to be their enemy, and he himself fought against them.
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God with which ye are sealed for the day of redemption.
These things I have spoken unto you that my joy may abide in you and that your joy might be fulfilled.
In that same hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent and hast revealed them unto babes; even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
And now I come to thee; and these things I speak in the world that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
And when he saw the multitude, he was moved with compassion on them because they fainted and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
And Jesus went forth and saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.
Then Jesus called his disciples unto him and said, I have mercy on the multitude because they persevere with me now three days and have nothing to eat, and I desire not to send them away fasting lest they faint in the way.
Then Jesus, having mercy on them, touched their eyes; and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that didst kill the prophets and stone those who are sent unto thee, how often I desired to gather thy children together, even as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them unto the end.
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and humble of heart, and ye shall find rest for your souls.
Then Jesus beholding him loved him and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go, sell all that thou hast and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross , and follow me taking up thy stake (if thy desire is to be perfect).
Then Peter, turning about, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrays thee?
For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.
And looking round about on them with anger, being grieved for the blindness of their hearts, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out and his hand was restored whole as the other.
And being in agony, he prayed more earnestly; and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour, but for this have I come in this hour.
and being clothed with the new man, who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of the one that created him,
But now thy kingdom shall not stand; the LORD has sought a man after his own heart unto whom the LORD has commanded that he be captain over his people because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee.
And I will give you pastors according to my heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
But I say unto you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those that curse you, and pray for those who despitefully use you. And unto the one that smites thee on the one cheek offer also the other, and to the one that takes away thy cloak defend not thy coat also.read more.
Give to everyone that asks of thee, and of the one that takes away thy goods ask them not to return them. And as ye desire that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. For if ye love those who love you, what grace shall ye have? for sinners also love those that love them. And if ye do good to those who do good to you, what grace shall ye have? for sinners also do even the same. And if ye lend to those of whom ye hope to receive, what grace shall ye have? for sinners also lend to sinners to receive as much again. For unto those whom he knew beforehand, he also marked out beforehand the way that they might be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
Therefore we all, beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord with uncovered face, are transformed from glory to glory into the same likeness, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
and that ye put on the new man, which is created in conformity to God in righteousness and in the holiness of the truth.
Beloved, now we are the sons of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be; but we know that if he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
