But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.

Burning lips and a wicked heart are like a potsherd covered with silver dross. He that hateth dissembleth with his lips, and layeth up deceit within him; When he speaketh fair, believe him not: for there are seven abominations in his heart.

He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?

But thy eyes and thy heart are only for thy covetousness, and for shedding innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do it.

But evil men and seducers will become worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when he bindeth them.

For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.

And if he cometh to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.

A heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that are swift in running to mischief,

All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the LORD: but such as are upright in their way are his delight.

A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person. Whoever privily slandereth his neighbor, him will I cut off: him that hath a high look and a proud heart I will not suffer.

Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.

He that hath a froward heart findeth no good: and he that hath a perverse tongue falleth into mischief.

Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.

I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered, because it lacked moisture.

But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and immediately with joy receiveth it; Yet he hath not root in himself, but endureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, forthwith he is offended.

And these are they likewise who are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they relapse.

They on the rock are they, who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.

For it is impossible for those who have been once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit. And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again to repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.read more.
For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh often upon it, and bringeth forth herbs fit for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh to cursing; whose end is to be burned.

For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful apprehension of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
