Consider what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in all things.
"If there is beside him an angel, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to show to man what is right for him;
While I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my petition before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, came to me in my weariness about the time of the evening sacrifice. He instructed me, and talked with me, and said, "Daniel, I have now come forth to give you wisdom and understanding.
Then he opened their minds, that they might understand the Scriptures. He said to them, "Thus it is written, for the Messiah to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
Beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.
Then they understood that he did not tell them to beware of the yeast of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
But as it is written, No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has imagined the things which God has prepared for those who love him. But to us God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? So also, no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.read more.
But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God. And we speak of these things, not with words taught by human wisdom, but with those taught by the Spirit, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things.
For from of old men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, and neither has the eye seen a God besides you, who works for him who waits for him.
by which, when you read, you can perceive my understanding in the mystery of Christ; which in other generations was not made known to the children of men, as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit;
Now the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Behold, he goes by me, and I do not see him. He passes on also, but I do not perceive him.
Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this world? Hasn't God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For seeing that in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom did not know God, it was God's good pleasure through the foolishness of the preaching to save those who believe.
that their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love, and gaining all riches of the full assurance of understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge hidden.

Then he said to them, "O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken.
Therefore she ran and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and said to them, "They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have put him."

His delight will be in the fear of the LORD. He will not judge by the sight of his eyes, neither decide by the hearing of his ears;
He shall eat butter and honey when he knows to refuse the evil, and choose the good.
But solid food is for those who are full grown, who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil.
