For I know that thou dost conduct me unto death and to the house appointed for all living.
For it is certain that we die and are as water spilt on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again; neither does God respect any person; yet he does devise means that his outcasts not be expelled from him.
Therefore, in the manner which sin entered into the world by one man, and because of sin, death; and so death passed upon all men in the one in whom all sinned.
The days of our years are seventy, and of the most valiant eighty years, yet their strength is labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
and ye do not know what shall be tomorrow. For what is your life? Certainly it is a vapour that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff shall comfort me.
Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his merciful ones.
For his wickedness shall the wicked be cast out, but the righteous in his death has hope.
For if we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord; whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
For to me to live is Christ and to die is gain.
And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on; Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours, and their works do follow them.
Having said that he said unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may awake him out of sleep. Then his disciples said, Lord, if he sleeps, he shall be saved. But Jesus had spoken of his death, and they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.
And when he was come in, he said unto them, Why make ye this ado and weep? The damsel is not dead, but sleeps.
For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep and was gathered unto his fathers and saw corruption;
after that, he appeared unto more than five hundred brothers at once, of whom the greater part remain unto now, but some are fallen asleep.
For this, we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not precede those who are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Behold, I show you a mystery: We shall all indeed be raised, but we shall not all be changed; in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet, for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised without corruption, and we shall be changed.
For the wages of sin is death, but the grace of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

so also the Christ is offered once to take away the sins of many; and unto those that wait for him without sin he shall appear the second time unto saving health.
But of that day and hour no one knows, no, not even the angels of the heavens, but my Father only.
But of that day and that hour no one knows, no, not even the angels who are in the heaven, neither the Son, but only the Father.
Behold, I send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me; and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, and the angel of the covenant, whom ye desire: behold, he comes, said the LORD of the hosts.
Be ye therefore ready also; for the Son of man comes at an hour when ye think not.
Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watches and keeps his garments lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels, and then he shall reward everyone according to their works.
I saw in the vision of the night, and, behold, in the clouds of heaven like a Son of man that came and drew near unto the Elder of great age, and they brought him near before him. And he gave him dominion and glory and kingdom; and all the peoples, nations, and tongues served him: his dominion is an eternal dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom such that it shall never be corrupted.
When the Son of man shall come in his glory and all the holy angels with him, then he shall sit upon the throne of his glory, and before him shall be gathered all nations; and he shall separate them one from another as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats,
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Therefore, judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts; and then shall each one have praise of God.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
And when the great Prince of the pastors shall appear, ye shall receive the incorruptible crown of glory.
Beloved, now we are the sons of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be; but we know that if he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
Watch ye therefore, for ye know not when the Lord of the house comes: at evening or at midnight or at the cockcrowing or in the morning,
Repent ye therefore and be converted that your sins may be blotted out, for the times of refreshing of the presence of the Lord are come; who has sent Jesus Christ, who before was preached unto you,
I give thee charge in the sight of God, who gives life to all things and before Christ Jesus, who testified before Pontius Pilate a good profession; that thou keep the commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
Marvel not at this, for an hour shall come when all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and those that have done good shall come forth unto the resurrection of life; but those that have done evil, unto the resurrection of judgment.
And many of those that sleep in the dust of the earth shall be awakened, some for eternal life, and some for shame and everlasting confusion.
and have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.
And this is the will of him that sent me, That every one who sees the Son and believes in him may have eternal life, and I will raise him up in the last day.
Jesus said unto her, I AM the resurrection and the life; he that believes in me, though he is dead, yet shall he live;
knowing that he who raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise us up also by Jesus and shall present us with you.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first;
and those that have done good shall come forth unto the resurrection of life; but those that have done evil, unto the resurrection of judgment.
And they shall go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.
So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption, it shall be raised in incorruption; it is sown in dishonour, it shall be raised with glory; it is sown in weakness, it shall be raised with power; it is sown a natural body, it shall be raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
Now this I say, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I show you a mystery: We shall all indeed be raised, but we shall not all be changed; in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet, for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised without corruption, and we shall be changed.read more.
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
And as it is appointed unto men to die once, and after this the judgment;
And I saw a great white throne and him that was seated upon it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and their place was not found. And I saw the dead, great and small, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened; which is the book of life; and the dead were judged by those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
And he commanded us to preach unto the people and to testify that it is he who is ordained of God to be the Judge of living and dead.
because he has appointed a day, in which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he has ordained; of whom he has given assurance unto all men in that he has raised him from the dead.
and he that lives and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen, and have the keys of Hades and of death.
He that rejects me and does not receive my words has one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
and to give you, who are troubled, rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with the angels of his power, with flaming fire, to take vengeance on those that do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ,
but the heavens, which are now, and the earth are conserved by the same word, kept unto the fire in the day of judgment and of perdition of the ungodly men.
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears my word and believes him that sent me has eternal life and shall not come into judgment but has passed from death unto life.
He that believes on him is not condemned, but he that does not believe is condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
So that now, there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ, Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ, Jesus, has made me free from the law of sin and death.
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ that each one may receive according to that which they have done in the body, good or evil.
