And I saw an angel coming down out of the heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit, and a great chain on his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, who is the old serpent, who is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, and cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and put his seal on him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years may be fulfilled: after these it behooves him to be loosed a little season.

And he continued to intreat Him that He should not command them to depart into the abyss.

And behold, they cried out, saying, What is there to us and thee, O Son of God? have you come hither to torment us before the time?

and crying with a loud voice, he says, What is there to me and to thee, O Jesus, thou Son of the Most High God? I adjure thee in the name of God, that you may not torment me.

And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded on account of the testimony of Jesus, and on account of the word of God, who did not worship the beast, nor his image, and they did not receive his mark on their forehead, and on their hand; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. The rest of the dead lived not until the thousand years were fulfilled. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is the one having part in the first resurrection: over these the second death has no authority, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

And if children, indeed heirs; truly heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ; if we suffer together, in order that we may also be glorified together.

It is a faithful saying: For if we die along with him, we will also live with him: if we endure, we will truly reign with him: if we shall deny him, he will also deny us:

Fear not those things which you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that you may be tested; and you shall have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you a crown of life.

And when the thousand years may be fulfilled, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and he will go forth to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war: the number of them being as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed about the camp of the saints, even the city which is beloved: and fire came down out of the heaven, and devoured them;read more.
and the devil, the one deceiving them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also, and they shall be tormented day and night unto the ages of the ages.

The God of peace will speedily crush Satan beneath your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

And I saw the heaven open, and behold a white horse; and one sitting on him called, Faithful and True, in righteousness he both judges and wages war. And his eyes are a flame of fire, and upon his head are many diadems; having a name written, which no one knows, but himself, and being clothed with a garment sprinkled with blood: and his name has been called, The Word of God.

And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne; and the books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead who are in it; and death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them; and they were judged each according to their works.read more.
And death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if any one was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.

For as in Adam all die, so truly in Christ shall all be made alive. But each one in his own rank: Christ the first-fruit; then they who are Christ's, at His coming: then the end, when he may deliver up the kingdom to God, even the Father, when he may destroy all government, all authority and power.read more.
For it behooves him to reign until he may put all enemies under his feet.

because the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we who are alive, who are left, will at the same time along with them be caught up in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so we will be always with the Lord.

And Jesus said to them, Truly I say unto you, that you who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man may sit upon the throne of His glory, you shall also sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father appointed unto me, in order that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom; and you shall sit upon thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? and if the world is judged by you, are you unworthy of the smallest judgments?

And they sing a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to receive the book, and to open its seals: because thou wast slain, and didst with thy blood redeem unto God out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation; and didst make them a kingdom and priests unto our God: and they shall reign on the earth.
