And he will take your daughters to be perfumers, and to be cooks, and to be bakers. And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your oliveyards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants. And he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards, and give to his officers, and to his servants. And he will take your men-servants, and your maid-servants, and your goodliest young men, and your asses, and put them to his work. He will take the tenth of your flocks: and ye shall be his servants. And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king whom ye shall have chosen you; and Jehovah will not answer you in that day.

Moreover the profit of the earth is for all: the king himself is served by the field.

And I turned myself to behold wisdom, and madness, and folly: for what can the man do that cometh after the king? even that which hath been done long ago.

The kings of the earth believed not, neither all the inhabitants of the world, That the adversary and the enemy would enter into the gates of Jerusalem.

or unto governors, as sent by him for vengeance on evil-doers and for praise to them that do well.

Then said he unto Zebah and Zalmunna, What manner of men were they whom ye slew at Tabor? And they answered, As thou art, so were they; each one resembled the children of a king.

For he saith, Are not my princes all of them kings?

I chose out their way, and sat as chief, And dwelt as a king in the army, As one that comforteth the mourners.

And they brought it. And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said unto him, Caesar's.

Show me a denarius. Whose image and superscription hath it? And they said, Caesar's.

Yea, ye have borne the tabernacle of your king and the shrine of your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.
