And Jesus knowing said to them, Why do you reason among yourselves, O ye of little faith, because you did not take bread? Do you not yet understand? do you not remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? How do you not understand that I did not speak to you concerning bread, to beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.

And they did not understand the word, and they were afraid to ask Him.

And they did not understand this word, and it was hidden from them, in order that they should not understand it: and they were afraid to ask Him concerning this word.
