10 Bible Verses about Obeying Jesus

Jesus answered and said to him, If any man love me, he will observe my word: and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our abode with him.

Then said Jesus to those Jews who believed on him, If ye abide in my word, assuredly ye are my disciples;

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he is the person who loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

If ye love me, keep my commandments.

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and as I abide in his love. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever things I command you. I no more call you servants; for the servant knoweth not what his master is doing: but I have called you friends because I have made known to you all things which I have heard of my Father.

And hereby we know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

And whatsoever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments, and do the things which are pleasing in his sight.

And he that keepeth his commandments abideth in him, and he in him; and by this we know that he abideth in us, from the Spirit which he hath given us.

For this is the love of God, that we should keep his commandments: and his commandments are not burdensome.
