And it opened the pit of the abyss; and there went up smoke out of the pit as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened with the smoke of the pit.

And he brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock; he hath established my goings:

And if a man open a pit, or if a man dig a pit, and do not cover it, and an ox or an ass fall into it,

And when all the flocks were gathered there, they rolled the stone from the mouth of the well, and watered the sheep, and put the stone again on the mouth of the well in its place.

And on the first day of the week Mary of Magdala comes in early morn to the tomb, while it was still dark, and sees the stone taken away from the tomb.

And they said to one another, Who shall roll us away the stone out of the door of the sepulchre? And when they looked, they see that the stone has been rolled away, for it was very great.

And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.

and the tombs were opened; and many bodies of the saints fallen asleep arose,
