But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place. This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

{A Song of degrees.} I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD. His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.
