For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honor.
Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honor, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:

For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
But if a woman hath long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honor to that part which lacked:
And those members of the body, which we think to be less honorable, upon these we bestow more abundant honor; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power:
Thy heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
