if indeed you remain grounded and steadfast in the faith and are not shifted away from the hope of the gospel that you heard. This gospel has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and I, Paul, have become a servant of it.

For we have become companions of the Messiah if we hold firmly until the end the reality that we had at the start.

But Christ was faithful as a Son over His household. And we are that household if we hold on to the courage and the confidence of our hope.

So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, you really are My disciples.

Therefore, my dear brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the Lord’s work, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

eternal life to those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality;

Brothers, do not grow weary in doing good.

Rejoice in hope; be patient in affliction; be persistent in prayer.

Pray at all times in the Spirit with every prayer and request, and stay alert in this with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints.

I am sure of this, that He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Though he falls, he will not be overwhelmed,
because the Lord holds his hand.

If anyone does not remain in Me, he is thrown aside like a branch and he withers. They gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

Therefore, consider God’s kindness and severity: severity toward those who have fallen but God’s kindness toward you—if you remain in His kindness. Otherwise you too will be cut off.

Other seed fell on rocky ground where it didn’t have much soil, and it sprang up right away, since it didn’t have deep soil.

But they have no root in themselves; they are short-lived. When pressure or persecution comes because of the word, they immediately stumble.

Search for the Lord and for His strength;
seek His face always.

And you were once alienated and hostile in mind because of your evil actions. But now He has reconciled you by His physical body through His death, to present you holy, faultless, and blameless before Him- if indeed you remain grounded and steadfast in the faith, and are not shifted away from the hope of the gospel that you heard. [This gospel] has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and I, Paul, have become a minister of it.

For God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you showed for His name when you served the saints-and you continue to serve them. Now we want each of you to demonstrate the same diligence for the final realization of your hope,

“I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never turn away from doing good to them, and I will put fear of Me in their hearts so they will never again turn away from Me.

keeping our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that lay before Him endured a cross and despised the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of God's throne. For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, so that you won't grow weary and lose heart.

"Simon, Simon, look out! Satan has asked to sift you like wheat. But I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And you, when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers."

For it is impossible to renew to repentance those who were once enlightened, who tasted the heavenly gift, became companions with the Holy Spirit, tasted God's good word and the powers of the coming age, and who have fallen away, because, to their own harm, they are recrucifying the Son of God and holding Him up to contempt.

The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn,
shining brighter and brighter until midday.

So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed Him, "If you continue in My word, you really are My disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

But Christ was faithful as a Son over His household. And we are that household if we hold on to the courage and the confidence of our hope.

You are being protected by God’s power through faith for a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

Only Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh remained alive of those men who went to scout out the land.

But since My servant Caleb has a different spirit and has followed Me completely, I will bring him into the land where he has gone, and his descendants will inherit it.

But you must return to your God.
Maintain love and justice,
and always put your hope in God.

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish—ever! No one will snatch them out of My hand.

But the one who looks intently into the perfect law of freedom and perseveres in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but one who does good works—this person will be blessed in what he does.

Yet the righteous person will hold to his way,
and the one whose hands are clean will grow stronger.
