19 Bible Verses about Pollution Forbidden

And Jehovah said to Moses, Speak to the priests, the sons of Aaron, and say to them, There shall none be defiled for the dead among his people.

A leader shall not defile himself among his people, to pollute himself.

Neither shall he come near to any dead person, nor defile himself for his father nor for his mother.

And he shall not come near any dead person to defile himself; but they may defile themselves for father, or for mother, or for son, or for daughter, for brother, or for sister who has had no husband.

Say to them, Any man of all your seed among your generations who draws near to the holy things, which the sons of Israel set apart to Jehovah, if he has his uncleanness on him, that soul shall be cut off from My presence. I am Jehovah.

Any man of the seed of Aaron who is leprous, or has an issue, he shall not eat of the holy things until he is clean. And he who touches any uncleanness of a person, or a man whose semen has gone out from him, or a man who touches any swarming thing by which he may be made unclean, or touches a man who is unclean to him, by any uncleanness he has, the soul which has touched it shall be unclean until evening. And he shall not eat of the holy things unless he washes his flesh with water.

But the soul that eats of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings that pertain to Jehovah, having his uncleanness on him, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.

I have not eaten of it in my mourning, neither have I put any of it away for unclean use, nor have I given of it for the dead. I have listened to the voice of Jehovah my God, and have done according to all that You have commanded me.

All the days that he separates to Jehovah, he shall not come near any dead body. He shall not make himself unclean for his father, or for his mother, or for his brother, or for his sister, when they die, because his separation to his God is upon his head.

then I said to them, Let each man throw away the abominations of his eyes, and do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt. I am Jehovah your God.

But I said to their sons in the wilderness, Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers, nor observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols.

And now, please take heed, and do not drink wine nor strong drink, and do not eat any unclean thing.

But He said to me, Behold, you shall conceive and bear a son. And now drink no wine nor strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing, for the boy shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb to the day of his death.

She may not eat of all that comes from the vine, neither let her drink wine nor strong drink, nor eat any unclean thing. Let her do all that I commanded her.

Do not defile yourselves in any of these things. For in all these the nations are defiled, which I cast out before you.

You shall not turn to mediums, and you shall not seek to spirit-knowers to be defiled by them. I am Jehovah your God.

Therefore come out from among them and be separated, says the Lord, and do not touch the unclean thing. And I will receive you

Turn! Turn! Go out from there! Touch not the unclean. Go out of her midst; purify yourself, bearers of the vessels of Jehovah.

Therefore putting aside all filthiness and overflowing of evil, receive in meekness the implanted Word, which is able to save your souls.
