John 10:1-16

Verily, verily I say to you, he that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, he is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door, is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the door-keeper openeth, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.read more.
And when he hath led forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. They will not follow a stranger, but will flee from him; for they know not the voice of strangers. This parable spake Jesus to them; but they understood not what things they were which he spake to them. Therefore Jesus said to them again, Verily, verily I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. Whosoever are come before me, are thieves and robbers; but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door; if any one enter in by me, he shall be safe, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they may have life, and that they may have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd layeth down his life for the sheep. But the hireling, who is not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: so the wolf seizeth them, and scattereth the flock. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine; (As the Father knoweth me, and I know the Father) and I lay down my life for the sheep. I have also other sheep which are not of this fold: I must bring them likewise, and they will hear my voice, and there shall be one flock, and one shepherd.

Galatians 4:21-31

Tell me, ye that would be under the law, do ye not hear the law? For it is written, Abraham had two sons, one by the bond-woman, another by the free-woman. And he of the bond-woman was born after the flesh, but he of the free-woman by promise.read more.
Which things are an allegory; for these are the two covenants; one from mount Sinai, bearing children to bondage, which is Agar. For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem that now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem that is above is free, which is the mother of us all. (For it is written, Rejoice thou barren, that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not; for the desolate hath many more children than she that hath an husband. Now we, brethren, like Isaac, are children of promise. But as then, he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, so it is now also. But what saith the scripture? Cast out the bond-woman and her son; for the son of the bond-woman shall not be heir with the son of the free-woman. So then, brethren, we are not children of the bond-woman, but of the free.

Romans 11:15-24

For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what will the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? For if the first-fruits be holy, so is the lump: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches were broken off, and thou being a wild olive wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the good olive, read more.
Boast not against the branches, but if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. Wilt thou say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in? Well; they were broken off for unbelief, and thou standest by faith. Be not high-minded, but fear. For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed left he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God! Toward them that fell severity; but toward thee goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: else shalt thou also be cut off. And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, shall be grafted in; for God is able to graft them in again. For if thou wert cut off from the naturally wild olive-tree, and grafted contrary to nature into a good olive-tree; how much more shall these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive-tree?

Ephesians 5:22-33

Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as unto the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as Christ also is head of the church: (and he is the Saviour of the body) Therefore as the church is subject to Christ, so also let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.read more.
Husbands, love your wives, as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify it (having cleansed it by the washing of water) through the word: That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing, that it may be holy and unblamable. Men ought so to love their wives as their own bodies: he that loveth his wife, loveth himself. Now no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourisheth and cherisheth it, as also the Lord the church. For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife; and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery; I mean, concerning Christ and the church. But let every one of you in particular so love his wife as himself: and let the wife reverence her husband.

Ephesians 6:11-17

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the world, of the darkness of this age, against wicked spirits in heavenly places. Wherefore take to you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.read more.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, And having your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit,
