13 Bible Verses about Spiritual Ignorance

Now concerning spiritual things, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant.

The ox knows his owner, and the donkey his master's crib; but Israel doesn't know, my people do not consider.

The way of peace they do not know; and there is no justice in their goings: they have made them crooked paths; whoever goes therein does not know peace.

Then I said, "Surely these are poor. They are foolish; for they do not know the way of the LORD, nor the law of their God.

"Indeed they do not know to do right," says the LORD, "Who hoard plunder and loot in their palaces."

But they do not know the thoughts of the LORD, neither do they understand his counsel; for he has gathered them like the sheaves to the threshing floor.

For being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.

as children of obedience, not conforming yourselves according to your former lusts as in your ignorance,

Also all that generation were gathered to their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, who didn't know the LORD, nor yet the work which he had worked for Israel.

being darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their hearts; who having become callous gave themselves up to lust, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light. Those who lived in the land of the shadow of death, on them the light has shined.
