And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to sanctify the people through his own blood. Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore.
And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and devoured them.
While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all who heard the message.

The disciples came and said to him, "Why do you speak to them in parables?" And he answered them, "To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.
