For we now know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold unto subjection by sin.

The wind blows where it desires, and thou hearest the sound of it, but canst not tell from where it comes or where it goes; so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. As the living Father has sent me, and I live by the Father, so he that eats me, he shall also live by me. This is the bread which came down from heaven; not as your fathers ate manna and are dead; he that eats of this bread shall live eternally.

Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me.

but these are written that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing ye might have life in his name.

And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto saving health.

My heart has spoken unto me from thee, Seek my face. Thy face, O LORD, will I seek.

Blessed are those that keep his testimonies and that seek him with their whole heart.

I remembered the days of old; I meditated on all thy works; I mused on the work of thy hands. I stretched forth my hands unto thee; my soul thirsted after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.

That I may know him and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death, if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. Not as though I had already attained it, either were already perfect, but I follow after, if I may lay hold of that for which I have also been laid hold of by the Christ, Jesus.read more.

For those that are according to the flesh know the things that are of the flesh; but those that are according to the Spirit, the things that are of the Spirit. So then, those that are carnal cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, because the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, that person is not of him.

Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if ye live according to the flesh, ye shall die; but if through the Spirit ye mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary the one to the other, so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

And be not drunk with wine, in which there is excess, but be filled with the Spirit,

Therefore we all, beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord with uncovered face, are transformed from glory to glory into the same likeness, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

For unto those whom he knew beforehand, he also marked out beforehand the way that they might be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Beloved, now we are the sons of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be; but we know that if he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every one that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.

But the fruit of the Spirit is this: Charity, joy, peace, tolerance, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit, but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit.

I AM the vine, ye are the branches: he that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing. He who does not abide in me shall be cast forth as an unsound branch and shall wither, and they are gathered and cast into the fire and are burned. If ye abide in me and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.read more.

for the kingdom of God is not food and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

For in another time ye were darkness, but now ye are light in the Lord: walk as children of light; (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth),

Beloved, let us love one another, for charity is of God. Anyone that loves is born of God and knows God.

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall everyone know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor and though I give my body to be burned and have not charity, it profits me nothing.read more.
Charity suffers long and is benign; charity envies not; charity does nothing without due reason, is not puffed up,

Clothed, therefore, (as the elect of God, holy and beloved) with bowels of mercies, with kindness, with humility, with meekness, with tolerance,

And I, brothers, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with solid food, for until now ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying and strife and divisions, are ye not carnal and walk as men?

Brothers, be not children in understanding, howbeit in malice be ye children; but in understanding be perfect.

For any one that uses milk is not qualified in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But strong food belongs to those that are perfect, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Brethren, if anyone is overtaken in a fault, ye who are spiritual restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering thyself lest thou also be tempted.

Bear with the one who is sick in the faith, but not unto doubtful discernment. For one believes that he may eat all things; another, who is sick, eats vegetables. Let not him that eats despise him that does not eat, and let not him who does not eat judge him that eats; for God has raised him up.

But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours becomes a stumblingblock to those that are weak. For if anyone sees thee who hast this knowledge sit at food in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him who is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols? and through thy knowledge the weak brother shall perish, for whom Christ died.read more.
In this manner, therefore, sinning against the brethren and wounding their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ. Therefore, if food makes my brother to fall, I will never eat flesh nor do anything which may cause my brother to fall.

But as it is written, That which eye has not seen nor ear heard neither has entered into the heart of man is that which God has prepared for those that love him. But God has revealed this unto us by his Spirit, for the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the things of man, except the spirit of man which is in him? Even so no one has known the things of God, but the Spirit of God.read more.
Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God, that we might know the things that God has given us. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teaches, but with doctrine of the Holy Spirit, jointly fitting spiritual things by spiritual means.

even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive because it does not see him, or know him; but ye know him, for he dwells with you and shall be in you.

He shall clarify me, for he shall take of that which is mine and shall cause you to know it. But he that is spiritual discerns all things, yet he is discerned by no one. For who has known the understanding of the Lord? Who has instructed him? But we have the understanding of Christ.

teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live temperately, righteously, and godly in this present world;

Therefore, I beseech you brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies in living sacrifice, holy, well pleasing unto God, which is your rational worship. And be not conformed to this age, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your soul that ye may experience what is that good and well pleasing and perfect will of God.

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom ye have of God, and that ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

For those that are of the Christ have crucified the flesh with its affections and lusts.

If ye then are risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where the Christ sits at the right hand of God. Set your sight on things above, not on things on the earth.

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love, even as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.

and he is the reconciliation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. And in this we do know that we have known him if we keep his commandments. He that says, I have known him, and does not keep his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.read more.
But whosoever keeps his word, in him verily is the charity of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that says he abides in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

In this we know that we love the sons of God, when we love God and keep his commandments. For this is the charity of God, that we keep his commandments, and his commandments are not grievous.

If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do ye.

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God with which ye are sealed for the day of redemption.

Quench not the Spirit.

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night that thou may keep and do according to all that is written therein; for then thou shalt make thy way to prosper, and then thou shalt understand everything.

Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.

and that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto saving health by the faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

And it came to pass in those days that he went out into the mountain to pray and continued all night in prayer to God.

And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out and departed into a solitary place and prayed there.

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled, and they took knowledge of them that they had been with Jesus.

And let us consider one another to provoke unto charity and unto good works,

Let the word of the Christ dwell in you in abundance in all wisdom, teaching you and exhorting you one to another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with grace singing in your hearts unto the Lord.

as ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father with his children, that ye would walk worthy of God, who has called you unto his kingdom and glory.

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into diverse trials, knowing that the proving of your faith works patience, and the patience finishes the work, that ye may be perfect and entire, not lacking in anything.

And not only this, but we even glory in the tribulations, knowing that the tribulation works patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope;

In which ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are afflicted in diverse temptations, that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold (which perishes, nevertheless it is tried with fire), might be found unto praise and glory and honour when Jesus, the Christ, is made manifest;

And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.

These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
