Now, brothers, let your minds dwell on what is true, what is worthy, what is right, what is pure, what is amiable, what is kindly??n everything that is excellent or praiseworthy.
Fix your thoughts on the things that are above, not on those that are on earth.
"Do not suppose that I have come to do away with the Law or the Prophets. I have not come to do away with them but to enforce them.
"Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace but a sword.
And when those who were hired first came they expected to get more, but they too got a dollar apiece.

I know and as a follower of the Lord Jesus I am convinced that nothing is unclean in itself; a thing is unclean only to the man who regards it as unclean.
When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put aside my childish ways.
Then what am I to do? I will pray ecstatically, but I will pray intelligently too. I will sing ecstatically, but I will sing intelligently too.
But in public worship I would rather say five words with my understanding so as to instruct others also than ten thousand words in an ecstasy.
Brothers, you must not be children mentally. In evil be babies, but mentally be mature.
Have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.
Let as many of us therefore as are mature have this attitude. If you have any different attitude, God will make this clear to you.
Think over what I say. For the Lord will help you to understand it perfectly.
