Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone forth into the world. He who says, "I have known Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;

forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods, which God created for reception with thanksgiving by those who believe and have full knowledge of the truth.

that they all may be judged, who believe not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. But we ought to give thanks to God always for you, brethren, beloved by the Lord; because God, from the beginning, chose you to salvation, in sanctification of the Spirit and belief of truth;

Had I not done among them the works which no other did, they would not have had sin; but now have they both seen and hated both Me and My Father; but this they do, that the word may be fulfilled, which has been written in their law, 'They hated Me without a cause.'
