19 Bible Verses about Turning The Other Cheek

but I say unto you, resist not him that is evil: but whosoever smiteth thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

To him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and from him that taketh away thy cloak withhold not thy coat also.

See that none render unto any one evil for evil; but always follow after that which is good, one toward another, and toward all.

Finally, be ye all likeminded, compassionate, loving as brethren, tenderhearted, humbleminded: not rendering evil for evil, or reviling for reviling; but contrariwise blessing; for hereunto were ye called, that ye should inherit a blessing. bless them that curse you, pray for them that despitefully use you.

But if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him to drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head.

If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; And if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:

And David said to Abishai, Destroy him not; for who can put forth his hand against Jehovah's anointed, and be guiltless? And David said, As Jehovah liveth, Jehovah will smite him; or his day shall come to die; or he shall go down into battle and perish. Jehovah forbid that I should put forth my hand against Jehovah's anointed: but now take, I pray thee, the spear that is at his head, and the cruse of water, and let us go.
