And the men who went up with him said, "We are not able to go up to the people because they [are] stronger than us."

Then the disciples approached Jesus privately [and] said, {Why} were we not able to expel it?"

And [after] he had entered into the house, his disciples asked him privately, "Why were we not able to expel it?"
