Take heed, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
And those also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in. For God is able to graft them in again.
Well, because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be high-minded, but fear.
Therefore let us labor to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of unbelief.
And Jehovah said to Moses, How long will this people provoke Me? And how long will it be before they believe Me, for all the signs which I have shown among them? I will strike them with the pestilence and will disinherit them, and will make of you a greater nation and mightier than they.

You will say then, The branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in. Well, because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be high-minded, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, fear lest He also may not spare you either!
For also we have had the gospel preached, as well as them. But the Word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.
