For there are many disorderly wranglers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, whom it is necessary to silence, who mislead whole families, teaching for base gain what they ought not.

But the hired servant, and one who is not a shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf seizes and scatters them;

and with covetousness they will make a gain of you with feigned words, whose judgment a long time lingers not, and their destruction slumbers not.
