'Away' in the Bible
The wicked are not so,But they are like chaff which the wind drives away.
“Let us tear their fetters apartAnd cast away their cords from us!”
Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am pining away;Heal me, O Lord, for my bones are dismayed.
My eye has wasted away with grief;It has become old because of all my adversaries.
Or he will tear my soul like a lion,Dragging me away, while there is none to deliver.
For all His ordinances were before me,And I did not put away His statutes from me.
Foreigners fade away,And come trembling out of their fortresses.
Do not take my soul away along with sinners,Nor my life with men of bloodshed,
Do not hide Your face from me,Do not turn Your servant away in anger;You have been my help;Do not abandon me nor forsake me,O God of my salvation!
Do not drag me away with the wickedAnd with those who work iniquity,Who speak peace with their neighbors,While evil is in their hearts.
Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am in distress;My eye is wasted away from grief, my soul and my body also.
For my life is spent with sorrowAnd my years with sighing;My strength has failed because of my iniquity,And my body has wasted away.
For I have heard the slander of many,Terror is on every side;While they took counsel together against me,They schemed to take away my life.
When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted awayThrough my groaning all day long.
For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me;My vitality was drained away as with the fever heat of summer. Selah.

Let not the foot of pride come upon me,And let not the hand of the wicked drive me away.
But the wicked will perish;And the enemies of the Lord will be like the glory of the pastures,They vanish—like smoke they vanish away.
Then he passed away, and lo, he was no more;I sought for him, but he could not be found.
“Turn Your gaze away from me, that I may smile againBefore I depart and am no more.”
For when he dies he will carry nothing away;His glory will not descend after him.
Do not cast me away from Your presenceAnd do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
But God will break you down forever;He will snatch you up and tear you away from your tent,And uproot you from the land of the living. Selah.
I said, “Oh, that I had wings like a dove!I would fly away and be at rest.
“Behold, I would wander far away,I would lodge in the wilderness. Selah.
Let them flow away like water that runs off;When he aims his arrows, let them be as headless shafts.
Let them be as a snail which melts away as it goes along,Like the miscarriages of a woman which never see the sun.

As smoke is driven away, so drive them away;As wax melts before the fire,So let the wicked perish before God.
How they are destroyed in a moment!They are utterly swept away by sudden terrors!
A boar from the forest eats it awayAnd whatever moves in the field feeds on it.
You withdrew all Your fury;You turned away from Your burning anger.
My eye has wasted away because of affliction;I have called upon You every day, O Lord;I have spread out my hands to You.
You have swept them away like a flood, they fall asleep;In the morning they are like grass which sprouts anew.
In the morning it flourishes and sprouts anew;Toward evening it fades and withers away.
As for the days of our life, they contain seventy years,Or if due to strength, eighty years,Yet their pride is but labor and sorrow;For soon it is gone and we fly away.

You hide Your face, they are dismayed;You take away their spirit, they expireAnd return to their dust.
Therefore He said that He would destroy them,Had not Moses His chosen one stood in the breach before Him,To turn away His wrath from destroying them.
They rose up to the heavens, they went down to the depths;Their soul melted away in their misery.
But He sets the needy securely on high away from affliction,And makes his families like a flock.
The wicked will see it and be vexed,He will gnash his teeth and melt away;The desire of the wicked will perish.
Take away reproach and contempt from me,For I observe Your testimonies.
Turn away my eyes from looking at vanity,And revive me in Your ways.
Turn away my reproach which I dread,For Your ordinances are good.
But as for those who turn aside to their crooked ways,The Lord will lead them away with the doers of iniquity.Peace be upon Israel.
For the sake of David Your servant,Do not turn away the face of Your anointed.
He has also established them forever and ever;He has made a decree which will not pass away.
