'Boasting' in the Bible

just as you have also understood us in part, that we are your reason for boasting, just as you [are] also ours in the day of our Lord Jesus.

For we do not again commend ourselves to you, but we are giving to you occasion of boast in our behalf, that ye may have such with those boasting in countenance, and not in heart.

For if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I am not ashamed; but as we spake all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which I made before Titus, is found a truth.

Wherefore shew ye to them, and before the churches, the proof of your love, and of our boasting on your behalf.

I wish you could have borne with a little foolish boasting on my part. Nay, do bear with me.

As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia.

But I will continue to do what I am doing, in order to deny the opportunity of those who want an opportunity to be regarded just as our equals in what they boast about.

That which I speak, I speak it not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting.

Since many are boasting according to human standards, I too will boast.

Boasting is necessary, though it is not profitable; but I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord.

I have become a fool -- boasting; ye -- ye did compel me; for I ought by you to have been commended, for in nothing was I behind the very chiefest apostles -- even if I am nothing.
