When Ahab heard these words, he tore his clothes, put sackcloth over his body, and fasted. He lay down in sackcloth and walked around subdued.

His body was carried back by horses, and he was buried in Jerusalem with his ancestors in the City of David.

In addition, Uzziah equipped the entire army with shields, spears, helmets, body armor, bows, and stones for use in slings.
