'Born' in the Bible

Irad was born to Enoch, Irad fathered Mehujael, Mehujael fathered Methushael, and Methushael fathered Lamech.

A son was born to Seth also, and he named him Enosh. At that time people began to call on the name of Yahweh.

When mankind began to multiply on the earth and daughters were born to them,

Your two sons born to you in the land of Egypt before I came to you in Egypt are now mine. Ephraim and Manasseh belong to me just as Reuben and Simeon do.

These sons were born to him in Jerusalem:Shimea, Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon. These four were born to him by Bath-shua daughter of Ammiel.

his son Zabad,his son Shuthelah, also Ezer, and Elead.The men of Gath, born in the land, killed them because they went down to raid their cattle.

Benjamin fathered Bela, his firstborn; Ashbel was born second, Aharah third,

These are the names of the children born to him in Jerusalem: Shammua, Shobab, Nathan, Solomon,

But a son will be born to you; he will be a man of rest. I will give him rest from all his surrounding enemies, for his name will be Solomon, and I will give peace and quiet to Israel during his reign.

Also, to his son Shemaiah were born sons who ruled over their ancestral houses because they were strong, capable men.

But mankind is born for troubleas surely as sparks fly upward.

since we were born only yesterday and know nothing.Our days on earth are but a shadow.

Before the mountains were born,before You gave birth to the earth and the world,from eternity to eternity, You are God.

Labor pains come on him.He is not a wise son;when the time comes,he will not be born.
