'Cannot' in the Bible
For this reason the wicked cannot withstand judgment, nor can sinners join the assembly of the godly.
For You are not a God who delights in wickedness;evil cannot dwell with You.
The boastful cannot stand in Your presence;You hate all evildoers.
I crush them, and they cannot get up;they fall beneath my feet.
For they intended evil against you. They plotted evil against you which cannot succeed.
All who prosper on earth will eat and bow down;all those who go down to the dustwill kneel before Him—even the one who cannot preserve his life.
It is vain to trust in a horse for deliverance, even with its great strength, it cannot deliver.
There the evildoers fall;they have been thrown down and cannot rise.
I am like the deaf, who cannot hear, and like the mute, who cannot open his mouth.
I am like a man who cannot hear and is incapable of arguing his defense.
I am silent and cannot open my mouth because of what you have done.
Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
Innumerable evils have surrounded me; my iniquities have overtaken me so that I cannot see. They are more in number than the hair on my head, and my courage has forsaken me.
I cannot eat, I weep day and night; all day long they say to me, "Where is your God?"
For I do not trust my bow, and my sword cannot give me victory.
God lives within it, it cannot be moved. God rescues it at the break of dawn.
Yet these cannot redeem a personor pay his ransom to God—
But humanity cannot last, despite its conceit; it will pass away just like the animals.
They devise unjust schemes; they disguise a well-conceived plot. Man's inner thoughts cannot be discovered.
May their eyes grow dim so that they cannot see,And make their loins shake continually.
My mouth will tell about Your righteousnessand Your salvation all day long,though I cannot sum them up.
[The] stouthearted are plundered; they sleep their sleep, and all [the] able men cannot {use} their hands.
Thou holdest mine eyes waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.
Your way was through the sea, and your path through mighty waters, but your footprints cannot be traced.
How long, O Lord? Will You be angry forever?Will Your jealousy [which cannot endure a divided allegiance] burn like fire?
Thou hast put away mine acquaintance far from me; thou hast made me an abomination unto them: I am shut up, and I cannot come forth.
“Once [for all] I have sworn by My holiness, [My vow which cannot be violated];I will not lie to David.
[The] brutish man does not know, and [the] fool cannot understand this.
The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.
They say, "The LORD cannot see, and the God of Jacob will not notice."
Say among the nations: “The Lord reigns.The world is firmly established; it cannot be shaken.He judges the peoples fairly.”
I will destroy anyonewho secretly slanders his neighbor;I cannot tolerate anyonewith haughty eyes or an arrogant heart.
You set a boundary they cannot cross;they will never cover the earth again.
They have mouths but cannot speak,eyes, but cannot see.
They have ears but cannot hear,noses, but cannot smell.
They have hands but cannot feel,feet, but cannot walk.They cannot make a sound with their throats.

which cannot fill the reaper's hand, or the lap of the one who gathers the grain!
They have mouths but cannot speak,eyes, but cannot see.
They have ears but cannot hear;indeed, there is no breath in their mouths.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
Never grant, LORD, the desires of the wicked; never condone their plans so they cannot exalt themselves. Interlude
