'Ceased' in the Bible
By the seventh day God finished the work that he had been doing, and he ceased on the seventh day all the work that he had been doing.
And God blesseth the seventh day, and sanctifieth it, for in it He hath ceased from all His work which God had prepared for making.
All living beings that moved on the earth perished—birds and cattle (domestic animals), [wild] animals, all things that swarm and crawl on the earth, and all mankind.

and Joseph saith, 'Give your cattle; and I give to you for your cattle, if the money hath ceased.'
