'Comes' in the Bible
But the Lord had told Ahijah, "Look, Jeroboam's wife is coming to find out from you what will happen to her son, for he is sick. Tell her so-and-so. When she comes, she will be in a disguise."
Those of the family of Jeroboam who come to death in the town, will become food for the dogs; and those on whom death comes in the open country, will be food for the birds of the air; for the Lord has said it.
Anyone of the family of Baasha who comes to death in the town, will become food for the dogs; and he to whom death comes in the open country, will be food for the birds of the air.
but the hand of Yahweh was on Elijah; he girded up his loins and ran before Ahab as one comes to Jezreel.
Any man of the family of Ahab who comes to his death in the town will become food for the dogs; and he who comes to his death in the open country will be food for the birds of the air.
Micaiah replied, "You'll see how when the day comes that you run away to hide yourself in a closet!"
So she had a talk with her husband. "Look here! I've learned that this is a holy and godly man who comes by here on a regular basis.
so let’s make a small room upstairs and put a bed, a table, a chair, and a lamp there for him. Whenever he comes, he can stay there.”
Elisha said, “At this season next year, you will embrace a son.” She said, “No, my lord. O man of God, do not lie to your maidservant.”

And now, when this letter comes to you, seeing your master's sons are with you, and there are with you chariots, and horses, and a fortified city, and armour,
guarding the king and surrounding him with weapons in hand. Whoever comes within range is to be killed. Stay with the king wherever he goes, coming or going."
And Jehoash said to the priests, All the money of the hallowed things that is brought into the house of Jehovah, the money of every one that passes the account, the money at which every man is valued, and all the money that comes into any man's heart to bring into the house of Jehovah,
And Jehoiada the priest took a chest, and bored a hole in the lid, and set it beside the altar, on the right side as one comes into the house of Jehovah; and the priests that kept the door put into it all the money brought into the house of Jehovah.
And this will be the sign to you: you will get your food this year from what comes up of itself; and in the second year from the produce of the same; and in the third year you will put in your seed and get in the grain and make vine-gardens and take of their fruit.
For this cause, says the Lord, the God of Israel, I will send such evil on Jerusalem and Judah that the ears of all to whom the news comes will be burning.
Then let the trees of the forest shout with joy before the Lord, for he comes to judge the earth!
When your time comes to be with your fathers, I will raise up after you your descendant, who is one of your own sons, and I will establish his kingdom.
But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? For everything comes from You, and we have given You only what comes from Your own hand.
Yahweh our God, all this wealth that we’ve provided for building You a house for Your holy name comes from Your hand; everything belongs to You.
If a man sins against his neighborand is forced to take an oathand he comes to take an oathbefore Your altar in this temple,
"If a famine comes to the land, or if there comes plant diseases, mildew, locusts, or grasshoppers, or if their enemies attack them in their settlements of the land, no matter what the epidemic or illness is,

"This is what the LORD says: "You are not to fight or even to approach your relatives in battle. Every soldier is to return to his own home, for this development comes from me."'" So they listened to what the LORD had to say and called off their attack on Jeroboam.
Didn’t you banish the priests of Yahweh, the descendants of Aaron and the Levites, and make your own priests like the peoples of other lands do? Whoever comes to ordain himself with a young bull and seven rams may become a priest of what are not gods.
Micaiah replied, "You'll learn the answer to that question when the day comes that you run away to hide yourself in a closet!"
for every dispute that comes to you from your brothers who dwell in their cities—whether it regards differences of bloodguilt, law, commandment, statutes, or judgments—you are to warn them, so they will not incur guilt before the Lord and wrath will not come on you and your brothers. Our God, will You not judge them? For we are powerless before this vast number that comes to fight against us. We do not know what to do, but we look to You.

So he saves from the sword that comes from their mouth, even the poor from the hand of the powerful.
You will be safe from slanderand not fear destruction when it comes.
You shall come to your grave in a full age, like a shock of grain comes in its season.
A cloud comes to an end and is gone; so he who goes down into the underworld comes not up again.
So is the end of all who do not keep God in mind; and the hope of the evil-doer comes to nothing:
He is looking to his family for support, but it is not there; he puts his hope in it, but it comes to nothing.
Such is the joy of his way, and out of the dust another comes up to take his place.
If death comes suddenly through disease, he makes sport of the fate of those who have done no wrong.
If he comes by and confines you and convenes a court, then who can prevent him?
Wisdom is found with the elderly,and understanding comes with long life.
Be quiet, and I will speak.Let whatever comes happen to me.
Though a man comes to nothing like a bit of dead wood, or like a robe which has become food for the worm.
“Like a flower he comes forth and withers.He also flees like a shadow and does not remain.
But man comes to his death and is gone: he gives up his spirit, and where is he?
So man goes down to his last resting-place and comes not again: till the heavens come to an end, they will not be awake or come out of their sleep.
When a man dies, will he come back to life?If so, I would wait all the days of my struggleuntil my relief comes.
"But the mountain falling comes to nothing. The rock is removed out of its place;
“Sounds of terror are in his ears;While at peace the destroyer comes upon him.
I am broken with wound after wound; he comes rushing on me like a man of war.
His foot is taken in the net; he comes into its grip.
Like the waste from his body he comes to an end for ever: those who have seen him say, Where is he?
“It is drawn forth and comes out of his back,Even the glittering point from his gall.Terrors come upon him,
“How often [then] is it that the lamp of the wicked is put out,And that their disaster falls on them?Does God distribute pain and destruction and sorrow [to them] in His anger?
What will they care for their household after them, when the number of his months comes to an end?"
One comes to his end in complete well-being, full of peace and quiet:
And another comes to his end with a bitter soul, without ever tasting good.
See, these are only the outskirts of his ways; and how small is that which comes to our ears about him! But the thunder of his acts of power is outside all knowledge.
Let my hater be like the evil man, and let him who comes against me be as the sinner.
“The earth, from it comes food,And underneath it is turned up as fire.
What then will I do when God comes as my judge? and what answer may I give to his questions?
In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep comes on men, while they take their rest on their beds;
And his soul comes near to the underworld, and his life to the angels of death.
Then his flesh becomes young again, and he comes back to the days of his early strength;

Its noise tells about him, and the livestock also concerning the storm that comes up.
Just listen to His thunderous voiceand the rumbling that comes from His mouth.
Then there comes a roaring sound;God thunders with His majestic voice.He does not restrain the lightningwhen His rumbling voice is heard.
The windstorm comes from its chamber,and the cold from the driving north winds.
And now the light is not seen, for it is dark because of the clouds; but a wind comes, clearing them away.
Yet out of the north He comes, shrouded in a golden glow;awesome majesty surrounds Him.
When it comes to his ears he says, Aha! He is smelling the fight from far off, and hearing the thunder of the captains, and the war-cries.
Each one is so close to the other that not even air comes in between them.
Smoke comes from its nostrils as [from] a kettle boiling and [burning] bulrushes.
Its breath kindles charcoal, and a flame comes from its mouth.

His trouble comes back on his own head,and his violence falls on the top of his head.
I will give praise to the Lord who has been my guide; knowledge comes to me from my thoughts in the night.

From the time when my name comes to their ears they will be ruled by me: men of other countries will, with false hearts, put themselves under my authority.
