“You are to make the courtyard for the tabernacle. Make the hangings on the south of the courtyard out of finely spun linen, 150 feet long on that side.

Make the hangings of the courtyard on the west side 75 feet long, including their 10 posts and 10 bases.

Make the hangings of the courtyard on the east side toward the sunrise 75 feet.

The gate of the courtyard is to have a thirty-foot screen embroidered with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and finely spun linen. It is to have four posts including their four bases.

And on the outside of the inner gate, [there were] chambers for singers in the inner courtyard, which [was] to the side of the north gate, and their faces {were to the south} [with respect to one], [and] on the side of the east gate [one] facing to the north.

And he measured the courtyard [as to its] length, a hundred cubits, and a hundred cubits wide, squared, and the altar {is in front of} the temple.

The building that faced the west side of the courtyard was 70 cubits wide, and the building's wall was five cubits thick all around. It was 90 cubits long.

Then he measured the Temple. It was 100 cubits long, and the courtyard, its building, and its walls were 100 cubits long.

The front of the Temple and its east-facing courtyard were each 100 cubits long.

Next, he measured 100 cubits as the length of the structure toward the front of the courtyard that stood behind it, where it housed a gallery on each side of it. Then he measured the Temple and the inner porticos of the courtyard,

Then he brought me to the outer, north-facing courtyard into the chamber that stood opposite the structure that was facing north.

Opposite the twenty [cubits] {of the inner courtyard}, and opposite [the] pavement that [was] to the outer courtyard [was] a gallery {facing} a gallery in the three [stories].

And [there was] a wall that was to the outside {alongside} the chambers [on] the walkway to the outer courtyard {in front of} the chambers; its length [was] fifty cubits.

For the length of the chambers which [were] to the outer courtyard [was] fifty cubits, and look! [The chambers] on the front of the temple [were] a hundred cubits.

And from under these chambers [was] the entrance from the east for them {when one enters} from the outer courtyard.

At the beginning of the wall of the court toward the south, facing the courtyard and the building, were chambers

Then he told me, "The north and south chamber, which are opposite the courtyard, are consecrated areas where the priests who approach the LORD will eat consecrated offerings and lay the consecrated grain offerings, sin offerings, and guilt offerings, because the area is holy.

{When the priests enter}, then they shall not go out from the sanctuary to the outer courtyard; and there they must put their garments in which they serve because they [are] holy. They must put on other garments and [then] they may approach [the area] that [is] for the people.

Just then, the Spirit lifted me up and carried me into the inner courtyard, where the glory of the LORD was filling the Temple!

Whenever they enter at the gates of the inner court, they are to be clothed with linen garments. They are not to wear wool when they are ministering within the gates of the inner courtyard or in the Temple.

"When they enter the outer courtyard, that is, the outer courtyard where the people are, they are to take off their garments in which they were ministering, lay them in the consecrated chambers, and put on different garments so they will not transfer holiness to the people through their garments.

and [then] on the day of his coming into the sanctuary to the inner courtyard to serve in the sanctuary, he shall offer his sin offering," {declares} the Lord Yahweh.
