See, I have set the land before you. Enter and take possession of the land the Lord swore to give to your fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and their descendants after them.'

Your descendants will be cursed, and your soil's produce, the young of your herds, and the newborn of your flocks.

These curses will be a sign and a wonder against you and your descendants forever.

He will bring extraordinary plagues on you and your descendants, severe and lasting plagues, and terrible and chronic sicknesses.

We captured their land and handed it as an inheritance to the descendants of Reuben, the descendants of Gad, and half the tribe of Manasseh.
